HEAT STRESS
You break out in a sweat, and the fan won’t turn on. Now you’re experiencing heat stress! There’s only one thing you want to do, and that’s to cool down. But what’s the best way to do this? And why are some bodies better at cooling down than others? Heat isn’t always nice for pets either. Cats’ paws can stick to melting asphalt, and dogs can become dehydrated despite their big water bowl. Plants wilt, and the soil becomes bone dry. Heat can cause stress in many ways.
